Bike Ride

I did this Bike ride a couple of weeks ago but I thought I would write about now just to recap on it because it was quite a memorable one.

I woke up that morning and I had nothing planned for the rest of the day so I thought it would be a perfect chance to go on a long bike ride. I didn't know where I wanted to go but that's what I like about bike rides its an adventure. I packed my pannier with food, a map and a repair kit incase something happened then I set of at around 11 am from my house and started off going through the countryside. I went through bentham then after about 10 miles most of it being up hill I turned on to the busy A65. About half way on the road I noticed road works happening. When it was are side of the road to go through I ended being the last on to go through and seeing as that part was up hill it took me a bit longer. I could see the people in the other cars not being happy I was holding them up but what do they expect, they want me to have rocket wheels ... *Starts to dream about rocket wheels. After that their was a lovely part on the A65 where it was downhill for about 5 miles which was amazing just drifting along, having time to rest my legs. A few miles later when I was meant to turn off and go on the B6478 I missed with out realizing so my Bike ride was meant to be 60 miles long and ended being 80 miles. This new route I some how managed to get on took me the longer route to Clitheroe but it also took me through some beautiful countryside which made it all better. When I was in Clitheroe I looked at my map and part of it was cut of so I had to guess which way to get to longridge and really pay close attention to all the road signs. Only 20 miles from my house now my food supply was running low because I was a fool for bringing only 2 bananas and apple. Your probably thinking why didn't I go into a shop and buy a sandwich or snack, well I forget my wallet too! Cycling these last 20 miles was some of the hardest moments I've ever had cycling so far. With zero energy, water running low and loads to steep hills to cycle up, my body was breaking down. Every hill I got to, I was talking to myself trying to motivate myself to get up and saying the quicker I get up this hill the quicker I will be at home.

After cycling too many hills to count I was only 5 miles from home and my body was beginning to go weak. At this point I noticed my Brother wizz pass me in his car. It would of been great for him to have give me money or some water but he didn't notice me so I had to do this challenge without any help.

45 miles cruel, slow minutes pasted having cycled one last hill to my house and finally I was at Home Sweat Home!

New action camera

Woke up this morning and guess who was at the front door? the postman! Now I have my new Action camera but I need to buy a SD card so I'm going to cycle down to currys, buy a SD card and cycle back the long way through the countryside. I will use this as a chance to test it out to see what kind of quality the footage.
